The 3rd edition of the Bioresources, Biotechnologies and Sustainable Development conference will take place in Bourg-en-Bresse, following two successful editions held in Oujda (Morocco) in 2019 and 2025. This 2026 edition will bring together academics, industry, and public stakeholders to discuss recent advances in sustainable bioprocesses, fermentation, bio-based materials, encapsulation, and active packaging, highlighting the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI), digital twins, and modelling approaches to accelerate innovation and technology transfer.
The 2.5-day program will feature keynote lectures, thematic sessions, poster presentations, technical workshops, and a dedicated B2B matchmaking session to foster collaborations between companies, laboratories, and technology platforms. Special attention will be given to early-career researchers (awards, flash sessions, registration grants subject to budget), as well as to safety, regulatory aspects, and sustainability (eco-design and life cycle assessment).
The event is open to everyone, in line with the principles of equality, diversity, and non-discrimination, with appropriate accessibility arrangements.
